Let us Dream: Catholic Conversations

And so we lift our gaze not to what stands between us  img 6414

But what stands before us

We close the divide because we know to put our future first

We must put our differences aside

We lay down our arms

So we can reach out our arms

To one another.

-‘The Hill We Climb’, poem by Amanda Gorman

When faced with a difficult situation, what do you choose: the power of fear or the power of forgiveness? We are part of the Body of Christ, but what does it mean to be living as one people, one Church? Especially when we disagree with each other or we do harm to one another, how can we move on and forgive?

This week’s Catholic Conversations tackles this very topic, featuring Fr. Dave Ayotte, Fr. David Guffey, and Dr. Christine Gerety in an interactive dialogue about the amazing gift of God’s mercy and forgiveness, as well as our call to be merciful too.

During times of uncertainty, our faith can help us, because Christ walks with us through it all. Come walk with Christ and with us, as he calls us out of fear and towards new life. Ask questions, share ideas and experiences, and feel the love of our community in conversation and prayer with us.

Pre-registration is required, conducted via Webinar on Zoom and broadcast on Facebook Live on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 7:00 p.m. Click Here to read more about Catholic Conversations.
