"Don't Inform → INSPIRE!"
A Parish-Wide Communications Summit
Saturday, June 10: 8:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Grand Pavilion · Lunch Provided · RSVP Requested

Effective communications are essential to every aspect of parish life: ministry, advocacy, or an event or fundraiser. The stories we share help build relationships, strengthen our community, and provide a platform for consistent messaging across all channels. But it’s difficult to know how to break through the noise and capture the attention of key audiences. How can each of us be empowered to craft a message that resonates with an ever-changing landscape of digital and traditional media?

This MarCom (Marketing Communications) Summit will introduce us to the current communications landscape, provide tools for effective storytelling, and launch resources for parish ministries to plan, execute, and deploy messaging that connects to others and makes a lasting impression.

Agenda
  • Hospitality, Prayer & Welcome
  • PART 1: Current State of Communications
What is. What could be. What will be?
  • PART 2: Ministry Fast Fire Update
    What's working or stuck?
    What's an opportunity and challenge?
  • KEYNOTE: "Don't Inform ➡️ INSPIRE!"
How we should follow Jesus' method of evangelization—
by telling stories people can relate to and making parishioners the heroes!
  • PART 3: "Tools & Jewels"
Everything you need to plan, execute, and deploy your communications.
  • Q&A | Hot Topics | Sneak Peeks

Who should attend? If you serve in some capacity in preparing, leading, or serving a ministry at St. Monica—this is for you! You'll be joined by many members of our various councils, ministry directors, and other staff. It's an opportunity for all of us to be empowered together!
