Support Community Fridges 
This year my lenten practice of almsgiving will include keeping the fridge full—not my own fridge, but the community fridge in Venice, where our neighbors “leave what they have” or “take what they need.” I will stand beside my brothers and sisters in need and share fresh salads made from the produce I harvest from my garden. Rather than hoard my leftovers, I will eat sparingly and share half of what I cook with my neighbors in need. –Christine, Green Team member
