Validate the experiences and feelings of people of color
Another way to address racial bias is to support the experiences of people of color by listening to them and engaging in a conversation. Whether it is at work with colleagues, teammates, or group of friends or acquaintances make a point to seek out those who are different from you and learn from their lived experience. Learn about other people and their culture and do go beyond foods and festivals. You may not know what to say and that is okay. Be honest.
