Adopt-a-Family & Stockings for Singles!!

It's time to Share the Season with the St. Joseph Center!

For more than twenty-five years, St. Monica Catholic Community and the St. Joseph Center in Venice have collaborated on Adopt-a-Family, with St. Monica parishioners providing food and gifts to hundreds of families and individuals in need during the holidays. In 2019, we introduced Stockings for Singles, to make sure that single individuals and couples enjoy the holidays too!

In 2020, we have been thrilled to continue both of these traditions.

We are so excited & grateful!! You did it!! Everone is adopted!!

Thanks to your generous response, our 2020 “Share the Season” goal has been met—we have adopted all of our families & all of our singles! Please consider a Christmas or Year-End offertory gift to continue to support all of the ministries of service, outreach, and many others at St. Monica.

Angel Toy Drive Update:

Traditionally St. Monica has held the annual Angel Toy Drive, collecting and distributing about 600 toys to children in need at five of our local public schools, at Covenant House in Hollywood, and in our local community.

This year, though we are not collecting toys, we are still spreading joy! Our friends at Covenant House received more toys than they needed from a generous donor, and we've provided each of our local schools with $300 in holiday gift cards that they can share with those families who are most in need.

And we are definitely looking forward to The Return of the Angel Toy Drive in 2021!!
