The Primetime Ministry provides fellowship within the parish community for adults 50 and over and also provides social, educational and spiritual activities for its membership including retreats, special events and social outings.

Saturday March 18 - A Visit to LACMA! Let’s Get Into the Conversation!
Take a trip with Primetime to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Saturday, March 18, 2017. On view is Picasso and Rivera: Conversations Across Time and features the work of Pablo Picasso and Diego Rivera and compares their artistic trajectories. We will meet at St. Monica at 9:30am in front of Holy Grounds for those who wish to carpool. We might even consider taking the bus to be ecofriendly and not worry about parking there. You can also meet us in front of the City Lights on Wilshire Blvd by 10:30am. We will buy our tickets there. Sunday March 26 - Primetime Potluck Soup Supper
Join us on Sunday, March 26, for a potluck soup supper beginning at 7pm in Caruso A and B. We need volunteers to donate pots of soup, beverages or rolls/bread. We are also going to have some fun with a Lenten Trivia game. All soup makers are to bring their own pots/bowls/crockpots for soup.
Saturday April 8 - Griffith Observatory Hike (rescheduled)
Join Primetime for a rescheduled hike on Saturday, April 8, to the Griffith Park Observatory. Meet at 8:30a.m. in front of the church to carpool. Please wear comfortable hiking shoes and clothing and bring a hat. water, sunscreen. This will be an approximate four mile round trip hike with 650 ft. elevation gain. The hike will be mostly on a fire road. At the observatory we can enjoy amazing views of Los Angeles, take time to explore the exhibits, and have lunch at the Observatory Cafe before hiking back.
