“Meditation is a way of slowing down so as to descend into the depths of yourself in the present moment, where God lies waiting to grant you a deep experience of your eternal oneness with God.” – James Finley
Jim Finley will offer a brief retreat experience guiding us on to give up fear for Lent in exchange for God’s love that sustains us in our fears and in every aspect of our lives on up to and including the moment of our death and beyond. Themes explored in the reflections will include:
Time will be given for periods of prayerful meditation and discussion of the themes presented.
James Finley reminds us: “The contemplative way is like a monastery without walls, a gathering place for people who are searching for something more--something more meaningful, intimate, and richly present to the gift and miracle of their own life.”
Experience peace and leave the stress of these days behind you! Gather with us, turn inward to find God with us.

Jim’s presentation was an EXTRAORDINARY experience. I was touched to the core and am already sending people to Facebook to watch Jim's sharing. An incredible Easter gift! Bless you one and all for all you are doing to sustain and enliven our faith during this challenging time. –Angela
I'm writing from Cleveland OH and feeling so grateful to you and your pastoral staff at St. Monica for opening this morning reflection time with Jim to me ... and many others. What a beautiful ministry. – Martha
Thank you this uplifting and inspiring session with Jim Finley. We Sisters of St. Joseph go back to the beginning with Jim when he lived and worked in Cleveland, his home territory. All these years later, I continue to savor his mystic vision and voice. – Judy
