"Let us not love in word or talk, but in deed and in truth." -1 John 3:18

Join us on Saturday, August 29 for St. Monica Serves, our fifth annual parish-wide day of service honoring the Feast of St. Monica! This is a wonderful opportunity for parishioners and friends of all ages to step out into our local neighborhoods and make a tangible difference together.

We have partnered with several local non-profits, food pantries, and shelters to support vulnerable communities across Los Angeles. Whether you want to pack care kits, sort fresh produce, or get your hands dirty in a community garden, there is a way for everyone to give back.

Service Opportunities Include:

  • Sorting, packaging, and distributing fresh produce at the Westside Food Bank and St. Mark's Food Pantry.
  • Creating hygiene and food care packages at the Culver City YMCA and Hope at the Door.
  • Preparing, packing, and distributing lunches and toiletries at St. Robert's Center.
  • Weeding, mulching, and tending to The Learning Garden.
  • Helping prep the Saint Monica Preparatory campus for the upcoming school year.

This is a family friendly event! Look for the (Kid Friendly) tag on select activities! Please note: Children under 13 must be accompanied by a guardian to attend.

Please review the service site descriptions and shift times, and sign up ASAP!
