The mission of the Respect Life Ministry is to foster a consistent ethic of life at St. Monica Catholic Community – respecting all human life, at any age and stage, from the moment of conception until natural death. We hope to deepen the understanding of the dignity of life by providing information, raising awareness, advocacy efforts, and through participation in communal and individual prayer efforts.
Thank You!
Thanks to our Respect Life Committee under the direction of Margaret Olivares for their great work on creating layettes for newborns at Harvest Home! Harvest Home is grateful for all the volunteers who gave of their time and energy to create the beautiful baskets.
St. Monica Respect Life Ministry invites all parishioners to support a Diaper Drive May 11 to June 15. Diapers and other needed items will be donated to three local agencies supporting mothers and children in need: Harvest Home, Claris Health, and The Landing. Your generous donation will be so appreciated and help ease the financial burden of these mothers.
Here is what is most needed:
Drop Off Bring your diaper donation on May 11, June 1, and June 16 to Grand Pavilion Patio between the hours of 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
You can also donated throughout the month and bring materials to the Caruso Center Reception Area during office hours.
Representatives from all three agencies receiving our donations–Harvest Home, Claris Health, and Landings–will be here at St. Monica in the Grand Pavilion on June 1. Stop by and find out the great work performed by these agencies for mothers and children in need.
