Cornerstone is a 26-hour retreat for adults that provides the opportunity to reflect, renew and strengthen your faith while meeting other members of our Christian community. Each year St. Monica offers two separate retreats, one for men and one for women, usually held in the early part of the year, before or during Lent. The retreats are hosted by parishioners who have experienced the gift of past Cornerstone retreats.
All meals (including dinner on Friday evening), accommodations, and overnight supplies are provided on the St. Monica campus. A letter confirming your registration and providing other details will be sent to you prior to the retreat.
There will be a number of opportunities on the weekend to examine your relationship with God, your family and others in your life. Most of all, it is an opportunity to step out of your daily routine to think and discuss about those things that matter to you most, in an atmosphere that is confidential and lends itself to reflection and renewal.
The next Cornerstone Retreat will be held on February 3-4, 2023 at St. Monica’s!
The Retreat is a forum for men – in complete confidentiality – to open up and share with other like-minded men their life’s issues and challenges, and how their faith has helped them face those issues and challenges. For many men, it’s one of the rare opportunities to be open, and to learn from the experiences of other men in the spirit of sharing. Many find it to be a gateway to bonding, sharing and belonging to what may become a long-term community of brothers in faith.
