It's hard to predict what this Advent will look like for us all - we have experienced many new things, some difficult and some amazing over the course of this last year. What we overwhelming learned is that we need connection - we need to share our faith with each other.
Striving to be Disciples of Christ, we are called to many different things:
This Advent, we invite you to come along with us as we embark on the waiting of Advent. This year, we will be forming small groups to read and reflect on Waiting in Wondrous Expectation by Sr. Janet Schaeffler, OP.
Waiting in Wondrous Expectation will be distributed after all Masses the weekend of Nov. 21, and will be available afterward for pick up at the Parish Office or Holy Grounds.
If you are not able to pick up a copy, click the image above to download a copy.
In this Advent waiting we invite you to draw closer to God in your everyday life. We offer you a few ways to journey with us during this season of waiting:
Simply set aside 3-5 minutes each day to enter into an intentional prayerful place in practice with our entire community using Sr. Janet's book.
We invite members of our parish community, including our diaspora, to prepare and lead a recorded online reflection. Take a minute, discern a day, sign-up for a day, find a prayerful space, and hit record!

This Advent Journal provides parish groups with reflection questions to use alongside the Advent booklet. These questions help us to reflect in our personal prayer time and to talk about our reflections during group meetings. Please use it, enjoy and pray with it. Many thanks to Diane Gasper for writing this journal for us!
