Adults have a responsibility to provide the young people in their care with examples of responsible adult behavior. Small behaviors like following the rules, listening to the children in your life, wearing your seatbelt, looking both ways before crossing the street — these all teach children that you are a trusted adult and that you can be counted on to do the right thing. For more small things that make a big difference in the life of a child, read the VIRTUS® article “Modeling Healthy Behaviors” at lacatholics.org/did-you-know/.
