A Call To Embrace this Holy Season of Lent

"Nothing is more precious than a life fully lived. To live this way is to live with passion! Jesus wants you  to live each moment with vibrancy, walk each day without fear, open your heart to others, and know and accept yourself in a deep, powerful way. How can you do this?”

This Lent, author Fr. Joseph Sica leads us to Emembracebrace this Holy Season in the daily reflection booklet, which St.  Monica will provide to our parishioners at no cost. During these trying times when the pandemic has been wearing on us, gain interesting and unique perspectives by joining one of our Lenten Small Groups. You can choose a convenient time, day, or choose to participate with one of our fellowship groups, such as Primetime and TTF.

Our whole parish is invited to join in the journey through the daily reflections; these groups will enable us to come together, though socially distanced still, to embrace each other in spirit and for our minds to come closer to God a little bit every day.

There are three convenient ways to obtain your copy of the book, including picking it up as part of your Lenten Packet, to include a packet of Ashes, CRS Rice Bowl, prayers, and more to start your Lenten journey with us!

In the words of Fr. Joseph:

"Lent is a wonderful opportunity for us to stand up to all the cynics who sit in the back row of life, rolling their eyes and whispering negativity and nonsense. To them we say, ‘in spite of all the chaos, every day is fresh and full of moments to be savored."
