We know there are thousands that turn to St. Monica to provide an online Mass experience each Sunday and I am sorry our technology disappointed many today. What happened?

Our Livestream studio workstation crashed, interrupting this morning's stream. A reboot was needed on two major pieces of hardware. The stream successfully restarted on Livestream.com and Facebook within minutes.

Why couldn't I reconnect?

Our dedicated audience flooded our website all at once, also causing it to crash—therefore the embedded players on that site, as well as short-links like stmonica.net/mass were inaccessible. We realize that nearly two-thirds of our viewers had difficulty rejoining the livestream.

TL;DR—is it fixed now?

YES—in fact, all technology was restored before the end of Mass. This evening's 5:30 p.m. Mass, with presider Fr. Dave Ayotte will stream as expected.
