On the Journey: Feast of Saint Monica

fresco imageWe thank our entire community for their continued support through a most extraordinary year. We have banded together to care for our community, in prayer, word, and deed, and now we want to celebrate you.

Last weekend, we celebrate the feast of our patron, Saint Monica, a woman of Tegas, who endured so much harship and yet never lost her faith in God. To her we offer our prayers and our thanksgiving for our community, as well as our continued prayers for the pandemic and those that we have lost this year. Like our fresco image, we are broken, we are in need of healing; yet there is beauty in that broken image, a symbol to our community of what we have endure together.
