The Passion and the Cross – Revealing Secrets Hidden Since the Beginning of Time

At the heart of our faith lies the mystery of Jesus’ Passion and death on a cross. It is not so much that we misunderstand this mystery but rather that we do not probe deeply enough into its richness. What are the deep “secrets” and “truths” revealed in the passion and death of Jesus? How are we saved through this mystery? How does the “Lamb of God” take away the sins of the world and wash us clean with his blood? Parsing the paschal mystery.
