To give is to receive
The Blind Side recounts the true story of Michael Oher, who went from being a homeless, illiterate, inner-city high school student to a star lineman at the University of Mississippi, eventually moving on to the NFL. By happenstance, his life intersected with a kind and generous family who were curious as to why he was wandering the streets after a nighttime school event. They reached out and invited him to their home, where he was encouraged to stay. His eventual life transformation was not only driven by his talent, values and diligence, but by the generosity, love and support of his adoptive family. Michael was welcomed and accepted as one of their own.
The Blind Side is an inspirational and uplifting film. It shows that generosity impacts not only the recipient—but enriches the life of the one doing the giving as well. You can stream The Blind Side on Amazon Prime, You Tube, Google Play, iTunes, Vudu, Hulu, HBO Max and Apple TV+.
