National Child Abuse Prevention Month (April) is a good time to review the ways in which we work together as a community of faith to prevent abuse and protect children and young people. The Archdiocese of Los Angeles stands resolute in its commitment to report allegations of sexual misconduct to law enforcement, support victim-survivors and protect minors and the vulnerable. An updated flyer which summarizes the efforts of the Archdiocese to ensure that our parishes, schools and ministries are safe places for children and young people is available at https://lacatholics.org/protect/protect-resources/.
