Small things done well and with love can make a huge difference in the life of a child. A safe adult can model appropriate behavior in his or her daily life by following child safety rules, acting appropriately in front of children, volunteering to help with outreach and safety efforts in parishes and schools, and showing children respect and care. For more tips on how to live out the promise to keep children safe, read the VIRTUS® article “Modeling Healthy Behaviors” at lacatholics.org/did-you-know.
