Safe adults who consistently follow the rules and observe healthy boundaries that keep children safe are key to building trust with the children in their care. When you demonstrate healthy boundaries, children are more likely to identify adults who do not follow boundaries. They also learn that they can trust you in difficult situations and can come to you with information about unsafe adults or abuse.
