Fr. Allan Figueroa Deck, S.J., is Distinguished Scholar of Theology and Latino Studies and Professor of Theological Studies at Loyola Marymount University. He has served in leadership roles at Loyola Marymount, the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley, and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, where he was the first Executive Director of the Secretariat of Cultural Diversity in the Church. Founder of the Loyola Institute for Spirituality in Orange, CA, Fr. Deck has authored or edited seven books and over 50 articles on theology, ministry, and culture. He also serves on the boards of the Jesuit School of Theology at Santa Clara University, CARA at Georgetown, and Verbum Dei High School. A pioneer in Hispanic ministry, he co-founded the Academy of Catholic Hispanic Theologians of the United States (ACHTUS) and the National Catholic Council for Hispanic Ministry (NCCHM).

Fr. Thomas P. Rausch, S.J., Ph.D., is the Emeritus T. Marie Chilton Professor of Catholic Theology at Loyola Marymount University. A leading scholar in ecclesiology, ecumenism, and priesthood theology, he has published 28 books and over 300 articles. Fr. Rausch has served as Director of Campus Ministry, rector of the Jesuit community, and chair of Theological Studies at LMU, and was Catholic Tutor at the Ecumenical Institute in Bossey, Switzerland. He has participated in national and international dialogues, including the U.S. Catholic/Southern Baptist Conversation, the Roman Catholic/World Evangelical Alliance Consultation, and the Anglican/Roman Catholic Dialogue. He currently co-chairs the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ Theological Commission and the Catholic-Evangelical Committee.
