The Thirty-Five Through Forties Ministry (TTF) is the adult group at St. Monica for singles and couples ages 35 through 49! In particular, TTF offers:

  • Social opportunities, both at St. Monica and in fun and interesting locations around town, (e.g., after-Mass socials, bowling nights, wine tastings, visits to museums, and athletic events)
  • Spirituality Nights and retreats that create the time and space in our busy world to reflect on our spiritual lives,
  • Educational offerings that challenge our minds while deepening our faith, and
  • Outreach activities that allow us to serve others.

TTF is a great way to connect with others in a busy place like Southern California, experience a church community, and share your talents and interests! We invite you to join us soon at an upcoming event and are happy to answer any questions that you might have.

Upcoming Events

Drop in Lounge

Each Monday evening, our Thirty-Five through Forties Ministry gathers together in our TTF Drop-In Lounge for fellowship & connection.  It's a time to see friendly faces, visit with those whom you know, and meet brand new friends.

Each month, we go on a Virtual Vacation, learn a little bit more about a particular saint, match wits during Game Night, and reflect on some aspect of our faith and how we can live that out in our daily lives.  You can come by every time, or your favorite activity of the month, whatever works best.  But know that you can always drop in and we'll be glad to see you!

 "Who Cares About the Saints?"

Monday, Apr. 19  | 7:30 p.m. via Zoom

Being human is not always easy.  Being a faith-filled Catholic human can be even harder, and we may wonder whether we're doing it "right."  Luckily, we have some very human examples of how to live imperfect, yet still holy, lives—we have the saints!

Join us as we meet a new saint each month through the eyes (and video productions) of Fr. James Martin S.J. Tonight (April 19) at 7:30 p.m. we're meeting St. John XXIII, the pope who surprised the world by convening Vatican II, which significantly formed the Church as we know it today.

Did you know that . . .

  • His father was a sharecropper?
  • St. John XXIII saved thousands of Jews from Nazi persecution?
  • He wasn't the first pope to be called John XXIII?

Find out about all this and more a we learn about a down-to-earth and visionary man who had a profound effect on the Catholic Church!
