What does the climate crisis have to do with faith? As Pope Francis lays out for us in his 2023 book Laudate Deum, everything! The intersection of climate and faith is justice: we must understand the first world’s disproportionate impact on the poorest and most vulnerable.

Through spiritual practices, sound climate education and the support of the group, JustFaith participants will move through this difficult topic with passion and resilience. Participants can expect to leave Sacred Air: Climate and Energy better equipped to address the climate crisis by mobilizing their communities, finding hope, and making personal choices that honor God’s creation.

I thought the class would be too much, but I signed up and grew to love my JustFaith group. I knew I was not alone and together we forged tremendous bonds of hope and solidarity. We were empowered through the class to take action, which became the seed of the St. Monica Green Team.” It changed my life!
