Young Ministering Adults (YMA), the fellowship group for parishioners in their 20s and 30s, provides spiritual, educational, and social activities and programs that support young adults as they discover new roles in family, work, society, and the Catholic Church. Join us for fellowship and fun!

A team of young adults and a staff coordinator lead the ministry. Along with activities at the parish, the YMA Core Team makes it a priority to invite and welcome young adults to the community and to provide information to its leaders and participants. The ministry also seeks to improve the involvement, participation, and integration of young adults in the parish and advocates for the concerns of young adults today.

Every week they share prayer, scripture reading, and discussion of topics relevant to the spiritual life of Catholic young adults. Join us promptly at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings in the Grand Pavilion or on Zoom. We invite all to sign up on Zoom whether you plan to be in person or online.

Retreats

Young adults in their 20s and 30s are invited to this year's YMA Fall Retreat: Intention in Tension.

Stress, feeling overwhelmed, a sense of monotony, feeling stuck, helplessness... what difficulties are you carrying with you right now?

Join us for a weekend of assessment and acknowledgement of these tensions and areas of need.  Come listen to fresh perspectives on how to move forward in faith. Emerge with renewed tools and intention to reach for God's grace and grow in peace, growth, and resilience.

The retreat will be held in the Spirituality Center located at the north end of the parish. Registration includes all needed materials and meals. (Dinner Friday, Breakfast: Saturday & Sunday, Lunch: Saturday and Sunday, snacks, and beverages throughout).

This is a commuter retreat (you will be returning home at the end of each day's session), so retreatants should plan to come to St. Monica at 6:30pm on Friday November 14th, with the Saturday November 15th session going from 8:30am-5pm, concluding in a Sunday session on November 16th from 9am- 2pm (including mass).

Get ready for insightful discussions, renewed perspectives, and quality time both with community and personally.

Registration is $75 per person. Registration link coming soon!
