July 13, 2020
California Governor Gavin Newsom announced new statewide restrictions and the re-closure of indoor church services, which is effective Monday, July 13, 2020.
St. Monica is still awaiting additional developments, guidelines, and announcements from the LA County Dept of Health, City of Santa Monica, and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
In the meantime, however, we have suspended in-person daily Mass and Sunday Masses through this weekend (7/18).
We continue to pray for the repose of the soul for all those who have perished due to COVID-19, we lift up those struggling with infection, and we remain ready to serve and support all those parishioners who may need our care and support.
If you or someone you know needs assistance, support, or pastoral care due to COVID-19 crisis, St. Monica has established a COVID Response Ministry. Please continue to let us know how we can serve you.
